For Referrers

Thank you considering our services. We provide efficient and comprehensive treatment while keeping our referrers and associated doctors up to date with patients progress.  Open communication is encouraged in all aspects of your patient's care. Referrals are monitored and triaged every business day.

Dr Hunter Wang has admitting rights at Sydney Adventist Hospital and Concord Hospital. He performs endoscopic procedures for privately insured patients at Sydney Adventist Hospital, and both privately insured and uninsured public patients at Concord Hospital.

Urgent Referrals

When emergencies occur you can feel confident that urgent care is available. We offer a specialised service to patients who require immediate care. Urgent patients will be seen as soon as possible (usually within 1 - 2 days). If using a Fax or Email, please highlight your communication as URGENT.

Urgent referred patients can benefit by:

• Onsite Diagnostics - Imaging facilities and pathology are available onsite and can be accessed without undue delay,
• Quick Assessment - Quick evaluation with an expert assessment,
• Clear Explanation - Discuss with your patient their treatment options,
• Early Treatment - Timely treatment can be offered to help with an optimal outcome.

We encourage direct discussion with Dr Wang regarding urgent or complex cases.  Using various channels of communication where possible we seek to enable our referrers to ask questions about specific cases either before a referral or during their care. During normal hours, our staff can provide you with my mobile number or personal email address. I will always get back to you as soon as I can. During after hours, I can be contacted through the Sydney Adventist Hospital switchboard or Concord Hospital switchboard via an oncall registrar.

Rapid Access Endoscopy

Rapid or direct access gastroscopy or colonoscopy is available. This an efficient and cost effective option for well patients requiring screening or surveillance investigations.
